NEW Legal Support at Work Labor relations are one of the fields of life relations that the law tries to regulate, in which the law of the strong and the "natural law" are interwoven. The less labor relations are regulated in favor of the employee, the more the arbitrariness and bargaining power of the employer dominates. The law office of Vassilis Markos undertakes the legal representation of employees, defending their interests, having as a starting point and guiding principle their wider engagement, socially, politically and legally with individuals or groups that face inequalities in the field in which they operate. In particular, it undertakes indicatively, but not restrictively: Providing advice at the recruitment stage and drawing up the terms of the employment contract and the negotiation of the terms of all employment relationships The protection of salary, wages and time limits of work The protection against the abusive exercise of the managerial right Protection in the event of an occupational accident The protection of illness and maternity Violence at work and its modern forms that are protected by law, such assexual harassment, psychological harassment at work (Mobbing), and dismissal in pandemic conditions The termination of the employment contract before the Labor Inspectorate or the relevant Courts Representation before the Labor Inspectorate or the relevant Courts. Group Energy Training The office of the lawyer Vassilis Markos has undertaken the progress of a class action against electricity providers for illegal charges against consumers and in particular the opposition of the readjustment clause to national and EU law. CONTACT FORM The office of lawyer Vassilis Markos, focusing on the monstrous readjustment clause and the unfair practices of electricity bill providers, undertakes the drafting of a class action for numerous violations of European and national consumer protection legislation. The consumer does not receive clear information about the adverse consequences of his provider's plan. Supply programs appear to have a fixed price, but this does not correspond to reality. The designations for various individual charges are vague and misleading. The contracts are difficult to understand, hard to read, multi-page, with literally fine print, with a lot of opacity or abusive terms. If you are interested, you can contact us at 2610-334 655 and 6999924333. We organize our steps as follows: A) Class action exercise: The exercise of a class action is addressed to each provider separately according to the Code of Civil Procedure. First, if you are interested in joining it, collect the accounts of a maximum of 12 months or as many as you have in your possession. If you receive them electronically, you can download them again now, either from your emails or from the relevant platforms of the companies. At the same time, you are looking for the contract/contract you have made with the provider. When you are ready, call 2610-334655 from 09:00 to 02:00 when our secretariat is open and book an appointment for the next few days. If your provider is D.E.H. you can apply for it and receive it with a lifetime application. D.E.H. still provides it. If you are with another provider and you request it, but the provider does not give it to you, you can see step (C). In the event that the application is submitted in a physical store, you must request that they issue you a photocopy of the application, on which the employee who received it will confirm receipt and put date, signature and name. The cost of participating in the class action amounts to sixty (60) euros. B) Then, we check for any illegalities, which can generally be the following: 1) Unilateral modification of the contract from fixed to variable or unilateral inclusion of the readjustment clause. 2) Existence of the adjustment clause in the bills: Even if you have agreed with the provider on the existence of an adjustment clause, its existence is checked for its agreement with the national and EU consumer law. In the lawsuit we will attack the clause as contrary to the good faith of the transactions, as it is impossible for the average consumer to foresee the consequences of entering into his contract by calculating and taking into account the algorithm of the clause that can only be understood by specialized professionals. This legal part of the lawsuit is both its main subject and our central goal. That is, the annulment of the readjustment clause as abusive. In this effort, lawyers are drawn up from all over Greece and we also have consumer associations on our side (see paragraph E). The outcome is not certain, but our arguments are based on established principles of consumer law and the belief that the electricity companies have long escaped the law. 3) Inaccurate calculation of the value of the kilowatt hour in the bills. 4) inaccurate calculation of the readjustment clause itself. 5) Double charges of the clause on two accounts. CAUTION: Those of you who intend to make a settlement request immediately, contact 6999924333 first , as many times the applications involve a waiver of your claims and you will lose the right to appeal to justice. In this case, you will be informed how to apply for a settlement without prejudice to your rights. C) Group application for injunctive measures to obtain the contracts: As it becomes clear in the previous paragraph and in particular in case 1, the existence of the contract gives us the possibility to check other illegalities besides the abusiveness of the readjustment clause. The existence of the contract is important, but not necessary as our central focus is the clause. But if you're interested in increasing your chances of success, you can join the class action petition for injunctive relief that will seek the contracts that providers refuse to give (see case A) with a court order that will be heard immediately. The cost of this movement amounts to an additional twenty (20) euros. D) At the same time, we organize the following possibility: Exercise of a group application for injunctive relief requesting the issuance of a group temporary injunction, a process that is heard immediately, and aims to prohibit the interruption of electricity, in the event that only the electricity is paid and not the amounts that we offend as illegal, until the hearing of the class action. In this case, you should take into account that in the event of a loss of our legal battle, the amount you do not pay will be charged with interest, which with round calculations amounts to 50 euros for an amount of 500 euros and a non-depolishing period of one year (calculated time of issuing a decision ). If this application is successful, you will be able to pay only the amounts that we do not dispute with the lawsuit, until a decision is issued without your electricity being cut off. It is clear that the amounts of the next bills that you will not pay will be charged with less than one year's interest. Therefore: When you have collected the bills of paragraph A and the contract or a copy of the application for taking it up from the provider (if you wish to join the application for injunctive measures granted by a court decision in paragraph C) call 2610-334 655 morning hours ( 09:00 to 14:00) make an appointment with our lawyers, morning or afternoon, so that we can record the history of your case, receive the documents and proceed to check and draft the part of the petition that concerns you and solve any questions. We will print a written authorization authorizing us to proceed in court on your behalf. Also, if you wish, you can send all the documents electronically to the email vasilismarkou14@gmail.com scanned or with clear photos from your mobile phone, together with the authorization attached to this email with all your details filled in. We will then send you back a deposit account number and transaction receipt. E) More general class action strategy: In a short time, collective actions will be filed by the Consumer Institute and EKPOIZO with the latter parties who will attack the readjustment clause as illegal and abusive with the same arguments. This process is different from the group training that we organize. The decision issued on a collective action may be of a merely identifying nature, such as e.g. when it recognizes that a certain general transaction term is abusive or when it recognizes the right to redress the damage suffered by consumers from certain illegal behavior of the supplier (art. 10 §16 par. d'). The recognition decisions are not an enforceable title. But they can serve so that the class action you will join has more favorable conditions for canceling the readjustment clause. For this reason, because the class action has specific deadlines by law that mandate that the decision be heard and rendered, we time the hearing and rendering of the decision to coincide with the rendering of the decision of the consumer associations. Especially the Consumer Institute, in the last 30 years has organized about 40 collective lawsuits, of which it has won more than 30. It is another argument that makes us believe that there are chances to be vindicated. From the crucial provisions of Article 10 of the law, as interpreted in the jurisprudence of the courts, it follows that the remedy in question does not introduce a right or legal relationship for judicial diagnosis. Its object is the judicial confirmation that certain behavior is contrary to the protection of the consumer's general interests provided for by law. However, from the decision issued in such a trial that accepts the collective action, a specific binding force is produced that applies to everyone" (A.P. 1219/2001, 1030/2001. Compare also EfAth 147/2004).

Establishment & Legal Monitoring of NGOs, Coun.S.Ep., Associations NEW The increasingly dynamic "presence" of social benefit structures in recent years has made them now organized pressure groups, which are one of the most active parts of a society that is not complacent and constantly tries to fight for democratic values and equal rights. The intense activity and dynamic presence of the organizations has now led to the creation of a two-way relationship between social welfare structures and the State. Especially in times of economic and social crisis, where the state shows an inability to provide social services, the role of non-governmental organizations is further strengthened, as they often take the initiative to provide social services, covering the gaps of the State, "correcting" malfunctions and intervening directly and key to society. The intervention and activation of social welfare structures in sensitive social sectors has been recorded and continues to be recorded through the following actions mainly: development education/awareness of society, exerting pressure on the decision-making process, providing humanitarian aid, strengthening institutions, active role in consolidation of democracy, establishment of development cooperation, environmental protection. In this context, these structures have increased responsibilities. The law office of Vassilis Markos offers comprehensive legal support for such ventures. The very creation and development of the ERIPYLI gender inequality management center has absorbed the knowledge needed so that corresponding structures can prosper and create cracks in the existing reactive environment, in the direction of the development of small and medium enterprises and healthy entrepreneurship. Services: Recommendation of the appropriate legal form depending on the project. Updating and monitoring grant programs for indirect or direct costs, job offer by an employee, etc. Writing financial proposals from the public or private sector. Legal monitoring of all stages from the establishment to the development of the initiatives. For more information please contact us: NEW Phone 2610 33 46 55 Email erifyli.org@gmail.com Follow us

Gender Violence NEW patriarchy lives and reigns today. It is a system of ideas and individual considerations on which most modern societies are built. Clearly, it is known to empower – in an arbitrary way – the male gender and promote practices of coercion, oppression and coercion. Through this view, practices have been naturalized, which continue to be reproduced in today's societies. These practices concern the devaluation of women, the reinforcement of specific behaviors and genders - on the part of men - which are considered to reflect and stimulate their "masculinity", i.e. the prevalence of gender roles and stereotypical behaviors, the reinforcement of rape culture and its naturalization. In recent years we have seen an increase in incidents of gender-based violence. Beyond physical abuse (slapping, pushing, pulling hair, etc.) that threatens the physical integrity of the victim, domestic violence takes many forms: verbal, psychological, physical, sexual abuse and financial violence – which leave no visible marks but are just as traumatic. Its effects affect important areas of people's lives, personality and psyche. We seek to prevent and address with ultimate vision by adding a small stone to the #metoo movement, the removal of the cycle of silence and abuse. Ways of intervention: Empowerment workshops: conflict management, sexual education based on consent, of adults or even parents for their children, strengthening of self-awareness and professional orientation, are topics that can act as a deterrent to future acts of violence, through empowerment and education of the participants. Informative events in our conference space, days, exhibitions, interventions in schools, operation of an autonomous voluntary group of parallel action: Informing the community about the phenomenon and issues of gender-based violence is inextricably linked to the claim of its members towards the conquest of greater degrees of equality in their life. Escape Guide: At the center we provide a detailed practical step-by-step guide to escaping an abusive relationship. From drawing up an escape plan to the necessary legal actions in collaboration with our network of legal partners. Holistic treatment: Get in touch through our methods of communication with "ERIFYLI" and with respect for professional confidentiality, with confidentiality and dedication to the specific problem at a time, our network of partners can in collaboration or the responsible scientist individually offers the best direction to follow. The cooperation of the sciences of criminology, psychology, legal possibilities is often necessary for a holistic treatment of the phenomena of violence. - Social Welfare | Erifyli
Social Welfare The increasingly dynamic "presence" of social welfare organizations in the recent years, has now turned them into organized social influence groups, which are one of the most active parts of a society that is not complacent and is constantly trying to fight for democratic values and equal rights. The intense activity and dynamic presence of the organizations has now led to the creation of a two-way relationship between social welfare organizations and the State. In particular, a necessary stage for the development of public policies is now the consultation of the State and Civil Society bodies, in order to ensure that they meet the social needs and to share citizens’ opinions through the bodies that represent them. Especially in times of economic and social crisis, where the state fails to provide people with social services, the role of non-governmental organizations is getting more important, as they often take the initiative to provide people with social services, covering the gaps of the States, "correcting" malfunctions and intervening directly to the society. The intervention and activation of social welfare organizations in sensitive social sectors has been recorded and continues to be recorded mainly through the following actions: education and awareness of the society, putting pressure on the decision-making process, offering humanitarian aid, strengthening organizations, taking an active role in the consolidation of democracy, establishing cooperations, environmental protection. In this context, these organizations have increased responsibilities. In view of their enhanced role and influence in the formulation of public policies, organizations need to make changes in their internal functioning and in the planning of their actions in order to ensure that they themselves express the values that they defend in the best possible way. It is crucial to promote and reflect gender equality, as a human right, through the structure and operation of these organizations. The inclusion of the gender dimension in all levels of action and intervention of Erifyli is an important tool for a substantial contribution to the promotion of equality, it constitutes its statutory purpose and central vision. The creation and development of the ERIFYLI center arose because it has been observed that Civil Society bodies fill the gap, where the state fails to contribute, by undertaking policies, developing various actions, initiatives and services, especially in the field of providing support services and assistance to socially vulnerable groups. Therefore, Civil Society has a significant contribution to the strengthening of democratic institutions and to the deepening of solidarity and social participation, represents diversities’ and minorities’ views and enhances public debate. In recent years, there has been a rapid strengthening of the role of Civil Society organizations and bodies, as they have gained an important position in the public sphere of social and political life both at a European and a national level. In addition, they are perhaps the most dynamic form of expression of society, which is recognized worldwide. The structures of social and collective welfare are unquestionably the most dynamic expression of Civil Society, and for this reason the inclusion of the gender dimension (gender mainstreaming) in all aspects of the organizations is deemed necessary for upgrading their role and enhancing their effectiveness. In ERIFYLI, our statutory goal is, on the one hand, our functions themselves (experiential empowerment and self-improvement workshops, legal advisory support services, informative actions, exhibitions, conferences, events, development of the volunteer group and artistic events) to promote equality among all participants by adhering to the democratic principle (vertical promotion of the gender dimension) in our processes and in our content. On the other hand, to promote equality horizontally in as many structures as possible, bodies of the state itself and finally, in the civil society.
- Erifyli during the ancient times | Erifyli
ERIPHYLI in the ancient years Erifyli got married to her cousin Amphiaraus, and was the person who initially restored the relationship between Adrastus and Amphiaraus, after the latter had driven the former from Argos to Sicyon. The two men agreed to resolve their disputes from now on with the arbitration of Eriphyle. In reality, however, Eriphyle remained loyal to her brother. Amphiaraos and Eriphyle had two sons, Alcmaeon or Alcmaion and Amphilochos, and two daughters, Eurydice and Demonassa. The poet Asius also adds Alcmene (Pausanias, V, 17,8). With the arrival of the persecuted Polyneices from Theba to Argos, Adrastos decided to support his rightful claim to the throne of Theba. Amphiaraos was opposed to this decision from the first moment and refused to participate in the campaign, since as a connoisseur of divination he knew that only Adrastus would return alive amongst those who would take part in that campaign. Therefore, according to their agreement, they resorted to the arbitration of Eriphyle, who accepted her brother's opinion and urged her husband to campaign with the rest, in order to obtain glory and honor. Amphiaraos was then forced to join the others in the campaign that became known as the "The Seven against Thebes". Eriphyli had of course not taken her brother's side because of her judgment, but, among other reasons, because she had been bribed by Polyneices with the necklace of Harmony. Both this necklace and the veil were precious gifts given by the gods to Harmonia at her weddings and Polyneices had inherited them from his mother. Knowing everything, Amphiaraus as a seer, leaving for the fatal war, left a cruel command to his children: when they grow up to kill their mother because she had sent him to certain death because she had been dazzled by suspicious gifts. This order was not immediately carried out by their children. Ten years have passed since the era of the debacle of the "Seven". The Descendants of Seven wanted to avenge the death of their fathers. The Oracle of Delphi told them that only if they had Alcmaeon, the son of Eriphyli, as their leader, would they win. Then Thersander, the son of Polyneices, again bribed Eriphyle with the veil of Harmony, whereupon Eriphyli persuaded Alcmaeon to help the other Epigones. However, Alcmaeon, although the campaign was successful, when he returned, killed Erifyli to avenge his father's death. Apollodorus (C 7, 2 and 5) wrote that Alcmaeon and Amphilochos together killed their mother after a relevant order from the god Apollo. Alcmaeon dedicated the necklace and veil of Harmony to the sanctuary of Apollo at Delphi. Pausanias mentions (B΄ 32, 2) that Erifyli's "tomb" was located near the sanctuary of the husband of Amphiaraus, close to the house of Adrastos, in Argos, and that (E΄ 17) in the "Larnaca of Kypselos" Eriphyle was depicted at the departure of Amphiaraus, holding the necklace of Harmony. Next to her, her two sons were depicted, Amfilochos still being an infant. Also, in the "Club of the Cnidians" at Delphi, where "Nekya" (the descent of Odysseus into Hades) was represented, the figure of Erifyli was depicted among other dead women, still holding the necklace of Harmony with which she had been bribed .
